The short version

We collect almost nothing. What you choose to send us is used only to respond to you or to send you the updates you asked for. We never sell, share, or trade your data — with anyone, for any reason.

What we collect

Contact form

When you use the contact form, you give us your name, email address, an optional company name, and your message. It's delivered to us by email through our email provider (Resend), and we use it for exactly one thing: responding to you.

Launch updates

If you sign up for launch updates, we store your email address with Resend and use it only to send launch and product announcements. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Nothing else

No analytics, no tracking cookies, no ad pixels. This site sets exactly one browser preference — your light/dark theme choice — in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device, and we never see it.

Where it lives

This site is served by our hosting provider (Netlify), which keeps standard server logs — things like IP address and request time — as part of running the service. Email delivery and the launch-updates subscriber list live with Resend. That's the whole map.

What we never do

• Sell, share, rent, or trade your information.
• Send you anything you didn't ask for.
• Use your data to train anything.

Cookies & tracking

This site doesn't use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is a preference for light or dark mode, saved in your browser's local storage — not even a traditional cookie, and it never leaves your device. Because we don't use tracking or advertising cookies, this site doesn't need a cookie-consent banner.

Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

If you're located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, the law requires us to tell you the legal basis we rely on to process your personal data. Here's how that breaks down:

• Launch updates emails: your consent, given when you sign up. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Responding to a message you send us: our legitimate interest in answering the questions people send us, and, where applicable, your consent in submitting your details.
• Basic security logs (standard web server logs from our hosting provider): our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working properly.

Your rights (GDPR)

If GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you (access)
• Correct inaccurate data (rectification)
• Ask us to delete your data (erasure)
• Ask us to limit how we use your data (restriction)
• Object to certain processing (objection)
• Get a copy of your data in a portable format (portability)
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To exercise any of these rights, get in touch. If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

International data transfers

Genotion, LLC is based in the United States, and the providers we use to run this site — including our hosting provider and our email provider — operate in the United States as well. If you're contacting us from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards to cover these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses offered by our service providers.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you're a California resident, California law gives you additional rights over your personal information. Here's what applies to this site:

• What we collect: identifiers only — specifically, the name and email address you choose to give us when you contact us or sign up for launch updates.
• Selling or sharing: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
• Your rights: you can ask us to tell you what we have (right to know), delete it (right to delete), or correct it (right to correct). We won't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Data retention

We keep the messages you send us only as long as we need them to respond to you. We keep launch updates email addresses for as long as you stay subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time, and we'll remove you from the list. You can also ask us to delete your information sooner.

Email communications (CAN-SPAM)

We only send marketing emails to people who asked to receive them. Every marketing email we send includes a working unsubscribe link and our postal address. We'll honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in any email we send. And if you'd like us to delete anything you've sent us — a message, your email address, all of it — just let us know through our contact form and we will.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 (or under 13, as covered by the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). If you believe a child has given us personal information, please let us know and we'll remove it.
